Ricardo Montalban

We’ll remember him for different roles…his incredible Khan, his “welcome to Fantasy Island” and so many more.  Ricardo died today at 88 years old, having lived a life of adventure and dream catching.

Born in Mexico City in November of 1920, he always wanted to be an actor.  He started with a bit part in a Tallulah Bankhead film and made his way from that to more and more film work.

He made thirteen Spanish language movies and began his Hollywood career in 1947

He gathered a large fan base from his role as Mr. Roarke in Fantasy Island.  It’s perhaps what most will remember him for.  His role as Capt. Kirk’s enemy Khan showed him in his sixties to be buff and fit, and action ready.

You can find his incredible list of film and various achievements at IMDB
